While developing through the years into a renowned Engineering Company specialising in Overhead Cranes, Lifting Devices and all facets of Engineering. ETIS Cranes (Pty) Ltd is 51% black owned of which 47.5% is black women owned thus resulting in a level 2, B-BBEE certification.

Our Story

ETIS Cranes (Pty) Ltd specialises in the manufacturing, servicing, sales and repairs of overhead cranes, hoists, portable lifting equipment, lifting attachments and general engineering services.

ETIS Cranes (Pty) Ltd, which is based in Emalahleni, Johannesburg and Cape Town is registered with the Department of Labour as a Lifting Machinery Entity – Registration No. LME030. The company currently employs an estimate of 40 permanent operational employees, of which 10 are crane technicians while 6 of these technicians are registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as Lifting Machinery Inspectors (LMI) as per the national requirements.

The company maintains in excess of R4,5 million electrical and mechanical crane and engineering spares stockholding in Emalahleni to satisfy our clients’ needs.

Vehicle fleet: 10 x 1Ton Service Vehicles, 1 x 16Ton Truck, and 1 x 4Ton Truck which are used to carry out our services and load testing.

Our Company owns 140 Tons of Certified Steel Block Test Weights used to carry out all statutory Load Testing services.

We proudly offer a 24-hour service, 365 days a year.

We have the in-house infrastructure to support all crane and engineering related disciplines. Our workshop facilities are fully serviced by overhead cranes and contain the necessary machinery and equipment to perform the engineering disciplines that we offer, namely, Electrical, Mechanical, Fabrication, Machining, Rigging and General Engineering services.

Refurbishment

The Refurbishment Division specialises in the repair, refurbishment and upgrades of all engineering related equipment. Our personnel are qualified and trained to carry out all electrical and mechanical repairs as per statutory requirements.

Electrical Field Service Division

The Electrical Field Service Division has LMI certified Electrical and Mechanical technicians, duly trained and fully equipped to carry out electrical and mechanical installations or repair related services to a broad field of different electrical and mechanical design solutions.

Fabrication Division

The Fabrication Division will custom build any engineering equipment and machinery to satisfy customer requirements. All lifting devices are manufactured according to relevant SANS and legal requirements, certified by our Structural Design Engineer.
